Overview
Intened ("the App," "we," "our") is a digital wellbeing application for iOS and Android. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information in connection with your use of the App.
Apple Screen Time API Usage
On iOS, Intened uses Apple's Family Controls framework, which requires the
com.apple.developer.family-controls entitlement.
We use Family Controls to allow you to select applications and to apply or remove application
shields using Apple's ManagedSettingsStore. We do not access, read, or transmit
Screen Time reports, detailed usage reports, or Family Sharing information. Screen Time
interactions are performed locally on your device.
Local Storage
Intened stores certain information locally on your device, including:
- Your selected protected applications, represented by Apple's system-provided application tokens
- Your intention notes
- Your unlock session information
- Your manually added time sessions
- App preferences and settings
This information is used only to provide Intened's features, such as managing protected applications, maintaining unlock sessions, and displaying your daily time timeline.
This information is not transmitted to Intened or to third-party servers.
Data Collection and Sharing
Intened currently does not collect or transmit personal information to external servers.
We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, social-login, or tracking services. Intened does not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties.
Data Retention and Deletion
Because Intened does not transmit or store user information on external servers, we do not maintain a server-side copy of your Intened data.
Information stored locally by the App remains on your device until it is deleted by the App or removed from the device. You can manage or revoke Intened's access to Apple Screen Time features through the appropriate iOS system settings.

Children's Privacy
Intened does not knowingly collect personal information from children or other users through external servers. Because Intened does not currently transmit user information to external servers, we do not maintain an online database of children's personal information.

Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Where appropriate, we may also provide notice within the App.
